VFX Manager

What you will be doing:
- Initiate improvement and creation of department pipelines in coordination with Engineering Leads and Producers
- Communicate department plans updates to the management team.
- Work closely with HR on department hiring efforts.
- Oversee business development, pre-production and quality delivery for all projects
- Manage allocation of manpower and resource logistics with IT
- Manage and plan department budget with Tech Director and Accounting
- Manage department documents, records, and knowledge base
- Collaborate with the marketing team with regard to project promotions and events.
- Align department goals with studio goals alongside the Head of GameDev
- Develop and implement strategies, goals, and objectives for department success with the Head of GameDev
- Ensure good morale and working culture in the department.
- Resolve employee conflicts with HR.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations on the VFX department.
Requirements:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience within the Game Industry or a related Field (Film, Project Management, Software, etc).
- Experience with ClickUp or similar Project Management Software.
- Excellent scheduling, communication, and task management skills.
- Art Leadership Experience, having lead at least a team of 5 people.
- Must have worked on 1 shipped title.
- Extensive knowledge of the creation process and terms used in Game Development.
- Knowledge of Game Engine such as UE and Unity is a plus.
- Knowledge of Film Industry VFX is a plus.
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
